This little wren is perched on a branch of apple blossom and on the reverse is a pair of feathers.  The embroidered stitched effect are overpainted with cobalt before the final high temperature firing to give a rich blue finish.  There are three sprigged buttons on the base.  The interior and handle are glazed and the exterior is matt.  The jug is 8.5cm tall and the base is 9cm wide.
