My studio is close to the location of Morris's Liberty fabric printing workshop at Merton Abbey Mills and this jug has been influenced by William Morris's daisies.  The machine embroidered texture of the stitches has been overpainted with cobalt at the bisque stage to give the rich traditional blue that is so beautiful with porcelain.    The jug is 12cm high and the oval base is 9.5cm long x 8cm wide.  Dishwasher safe with care.
