My studio is close to the location of Morris's Liberty fabric printing workshop at Merton Abbey Mills and this jug has floral designs on each side  influenced by William Morris's daisies.  The machine embroidered texture of the stitches has been overpainted with cobalt at the bisque stage to give the rich traditional blue that is so beautiful with porcelain.    The jug is 8.5cm high and the base is 9cm wide.  Dishwasher safe with care.
