This jug looks as if there is a machine and hand embroidered blue-tit in a branch on one side and a feather on the other. The stitching is picked out with cobalt, hand painted at the bisque stage which develops to a rich blue colour in the glaze firing.   There is a shiny, transparent glaze on the interior and handle are three sprigged button feet on the base. The jug is  7.5cm tall and the base is 8.5cm.  The jug is dishwasher safe.
