These two small vases have your sewing essentials on the front and the effect of a stitched line down the back.  The stitches have been overpainted with cobalt and fired to give a rich blue finish.  The interiors are glazed with a shiny transparent glaze, the exterior is matt and there is a rim of real gold lustre around the rim.  There are sprigged buttons on the base.  The taller vase is 13.5cm tall with a 9.5cm wide base and the smaller vase is 10.5cm tall with a base of 7.5cm wide.
