This little robin is perching on a budding branch. The bird and the pair of feathers on the reverse are machine embroidered in textile and then cast in plaster. The porcelain is then pressed into the plaster and the jug is built. The jug is fired once and the stitches are painted with cobalt and fired again. The interior and handle have a shiny transparent glaze and there are three sprigged buttons on the base. The jug is 12cm tall and the base is 8.5cm wide. Dishwasher safe with care.
