This tall porcelain vase has a slender neck and oval base so it works beautifully holding a single flower or simply displayed, fitting on a narrow shelf. There are five machine embroidered feathers which have been cast and pressmoulded into the porcelain. Once the vase was biscuit fired, I painted cobat over the stitching, glazed the interior and fired again. the vase is 23cm high and the base is 10cm x 8cm.
