This porcelain flower vase has the texture of a hand embroidered leaping hare and having built and fired the piece, I hand paint cobalt over each individual stitch before firing again to top temperature to give a lovely rich blue colour.  There is a transparent glaze inside and the rim has gold lustre to beautifully catch the light.   There are sprigged button feet on the base.   
The  piece  is 14.5cm high and 12.5cm wide with a depth of 4.5cm.
