This porcelain jug has a textile texture with the effect of a large embroidered custard and a bourbon biscuit on the other side.  The texture of the machine embroidered and French knot stitches have been overpainted with cobalt at bisque stage to fire to a deep, traditional navy blue.  The interior and handle are glazed with a shiny transparent glaze and there is a hidden detail of three sprigged buttons on the base.  The jug is 9.5cm tall and the base is 9.5cm.  Dishwasher safe with care.
