This little blue-tit is perching on a branch of berries, about to take flight. The bird and the pair of feathers on the reverse are machine embroidered in textile and then cast in plaster. The porcelain is then pressed into the plaster and the jug is built. The jug is fired once and the stitches are painted with cobalt and fired again. The interior and handle have a shiny transparent glaze and there are three sprigged buttons on the base. The jug is 13cm tall and the base is 9cm wide. Dishwasher safe with care.
