This jug looks as if there is a machine and hand embroidered blue-tit in a branch on one side and a pair of feathers on the other. The stitching is picked out with cobalt, hand painted at the bisque stage which develops to a rich blue colour in the glaze firing.   There is a shiny, transparent glaze on the interior and handle are three sprigged button feet on the base. The jug is  8cm tall and the oval base is 8.5cm wide.  The jug is dishwasher safe.
